Our adventure began on Wednesday, April 23rd. (Also our 5 month anniversary:)
We woke up that morning on an air mattress, everything packed in boxes, and clothes in our duffel bags. I got ready for work as Sean did some last minute studying for his LAST final for the Winter 2014 semester! We were out of the apartment by 9:30am so I could take Sean to his in-class final for Organic Chemistry. I ran home and washed the car for our 25 hour road trip that we would start later that day. Then I drove back to campus, found a parking spot after 25 minutes of searching, ran up the duck pond stairs, and clocked in for work in the Joseph Smith Building (JSB). I worked the 12-2pm shift. Just as I finished, Sean walked in from finishing his test and we ran down to the car with excitement as we just finished work and school!
Hallelujah!

We got home at 2:15pm.
Sean packed up the car while I did some last minute cleaning and final touches to get the dust off the already cleaned areas of our 1st apartment, which to us was our 1st home.
--Crazy how 5 months in one place can fly by so fast!--
It took us a good hour to pack the car and by the time we were done packing, we were sweeping ourselves out the front door. WOW. That was it. We took pictures as we said goodbye to our 1st home. We left and drove to our storage unit to make our last round, dropping off things we wouldn't need for our summer in Louisiana.
(How does one accumulate so much stuff!?!)

Once that storage unit run was over,
we used our gift card to grab some good ol' Panda Express.
--Little did we know that this would be our last Panda outing for the next 4 months because the closest Panda Express is about
3 hours away in either direction from Lake Charles, Louisiana!--

Once Panda was off the checklist,
we hit up Smith's Grocery one last time to get a bag of ice for our cooler in the back seat.
